QUEST EXTENDS IT SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH IBM.

The article reports on a new five-and-a-half-year contract signed by IBM with Qwest Communications for management of the company's information technology (IT) operations, which extends an existing contract that was signed in 2003.

Under the contract, IBM will continue to manage Qwest's data centers, mainframe and midrange servers, storage, back-up and recovery services to allow Qwest to generate more cost savings and improve the customer experience.
